The Electro Mechanical Actuators (EMA Linear Actuators) typical Applications include tilt/pivot, lift/lower, position, roll/slide, open/close, tension and lock/unlock. Used across many sectors from defence, nuclear, food processing and material handling such as plastics and rubber.

There are 3 standard EMA linear actuator models, all available in a right-angle drive configuration.

  • I = Intermittent duty model, incorporating a trapezoidal screw
  • C = Continuous duty model, incorporating a ball screw
  • H = High speed continuous duty model, incorporating a ball screw

 

  • Choice of AC or DC motor types
  • Range of end fittings: Clevis, Fork Clevis, Top Plate or Screwed End
  • Trunnion mounting
  • Limit Switches

All EMA linear actuators are constructed and finished to suit industrial operating conditions. The linear actuator gearbox and outer tube are either aluminium or plated for protection and the ram is zinc plated steel. The linear actuator is sealed at the ram.
